Hi, I am Jim Hautala, currently living in Hanover, MN. We, Carol and I, moved there in 2006. (A not to well kept Hanover secret is Bob Dylan has a house and studio here.) Also, one of the best restaurants Carol and I have ever eaten at is located in downtown Hanover, the River Inn.
Anyway, about my photography. I am not a pro photographer, I am not an amateur photographer. I am somewhere in the middle … someone real photographers call an “Enthusiast”. My interested in photography started in the 1970’s, well before digital cameras. Still have those film cameras in the basement.
I will have to say that I am a Pentaxian. Every 35 mm camera (film and digital) I own is a Pentax. Wouldn’t think about getting anything else.
I’ve been honored over the years to take pictures at engagements, weddings, sporting events, festivals, seniors (both high school seniors and senior citizen), family gatherings, landscapes, and other events.
